Shipping policy

Shipping Times

Orders always aim to be shipped on our weekly designated shipping day. Currently, Friday is our shipping day where all orders for the week will be shipped at once. This is to limit our travel and social contacts in line with updated COVID-19 guidelines in Ireland.

Orders will be shipped via standard post unless otherwise requested.

Please note that there may be delays during busier periods such as holiday periods, personal matters, or local COVID-19 regulations. Affected customers will be notified of any shipping delays.

 

Shipping Packaging

All orders are shipped in discreet packaging by default, both for your safety and the safety of your order. We get that not everybody may be out, or may express themselves in different ways too - it's what we're all about! Don't worry though, the inside of the parcels will be fabulous enough to make up for it :) 

 

Regarding our packaging materials, we strive to use as much recycled or recyclable materials as possible when shipping our products - without leaving your product at risk. The majority of plastics included with orders are upcycled from products we've purchased and received previously - and have been repurposed to help protect your product while shipping. Some orders may arrive in bubbled-lined envelopes (for extra protection) but we encourage our customers to reuse these by replacing the shipping labels or repurposing them in other ways!

 

Names Names Names

Being a queer-owned business, we also recognize that the name you choose to have your package addressed to, the name you use day to day basis, and the name on your payment type, may all vary. That's totally okay! We'll do our best to ensure that we are always mindful of this when packaging orders, but occasionally we may reach out to clarify which name to use where. Feel free to reach out to us after an order too if you want to flag anything like this - as we're always happy to address the note in the order by a different name than the one on the packaging if you so request. Your comfort and safety are key!

 

Gift Orders

Is your order a gift for someone special? How kind of you <3 Please feel free to let us know this so we can ensure we can add an extra note so they know exactly where it came from - and we're working on expanding our checkout to add a gift option there soon.

 

Local Delivery

Some local delivery options are available for those based in Galway city. Please reach out via our contact form, on social media, or via email (westqueerart@gmail.com) if you wish to see if it's possible.

Local Deliveries are also subject to current COVID-19 Government Guidelines.

Orders placed that select local delivery without prior arrangements are subject to being canceled.
